"I always thought I knew quite a lot about nutrition but have struggled in the past to sustain a healthy diet, I always seemed to return to old habits and it made me miserable.  Since my consultations with Debra, and implementing the recommended changes to the way I eat, my relationship with food has completely changed. I feel like I understand how food works and how I can get the most from it. I know what I eat can make me look and feel great. I don't feel like I ever deny myself, I never go hungry and I really enjoy eating healthily. I'm not on a diet, I just feel like I understand how to eat now. I think what has struck me the most is the impact on my general well being; my mood is more optimistic, I'm more energised and more confident. I am no longer constantly thinking about food or worrying about my body image"

JM, London

“My consultations with Debra have been relaxed and positive. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid some years ago and within a short period of time Debra helped identify and resolve an issue with T3 levels related to my condition.  Through the programme and recipes she has recommended, I have already seen a marked improvement in my vitality and energy”

About Live Well

Prior to the initial consultation you will be asked to complete and return a questionnaire giving information about your health, diet and lifestyle. This gives your nutritional therapist time to familiarise themselves with your case history, allowing them to prepare for the consultation.

The first consultation will last for 1 hour and during this time we will establish your goals and discuss your health, digestive function, family history and diet in more detail. After assessing these areas talk through possible contributory factors and we will work together to formulate a personalised diet and lifestyle plan. This will be tailor-made to suit your lifestyle, taking into account factors such as your food likes and dislikes, culinary skills, family commitments and budget. Diagnostic tests may be recommended to help deterime the best approach for helping you to achieve your goals.  Your personalised plan may also include nutritional supplement recommendations if appropriate.

A follow up consultation to review your progress usually takes place 4 to 6 weeks after the initial appointment and depending on how you are getting on we will then make any necessary adjustments to your plan. We want you to stay motivated and to achieve optimum health so we will be available for telephone or email support between appointments if needed.

Further appointments may be required depending on the reason for you seeking nutritional advice.

To ensure you receive the most safe and appropriate treatment for your health condition, Live Well Nutrition will work in conjunction with your GP.
